What is the size of the 2.5m skip bin?

Dimensions are 1.1m wide, 2.5m long and about 1m high.

What can’t go in the skip bin?

Hazardous waste can not be placed in the skip bin. This includes paints, solvents, liquids or any asbestos. Tyres and mattresses can be put into the skip bin but will incur additional charges.

How much does it cost to hire a skip bin?

It depends on the waste type and your particular requirements. See the price list for details.

How long can I keep the skip bin?

As long as you need. We do not have a daily charge.

When and how do I pay for the skip bin?

All skip bin orders are paid for at the time of ordering or before pickup. We accept payment by credit card or cash. If additional charges are applicable they will be subsequently charged.

How much weight can I put in the skip bin?

The weight is not limited, but you cannot load the bin above the top edge.

How high can I fill the skip bin?

Skip bins should not be filled too high as over filling will cause spillage during transportation.

What do I do with hazardous chemicals?

You cannot put any hazardous waste into the skip bins. To dispose of this you need to contact your local council. Hazardous chemicals include Solvents, Paints, Acids, Laboratory Waste, Oils, & Grease.

Will they be able to get up my drive?

Generally yes if there is no low hanging trees, power lines that may hinder access and placement of the bin. The Crane Truck requires at least 2.5m to enter a driveway or lane.

Do you service business/commercial customers?

Yes.

Can I get a skip delivered on the weekend?

Sometimes we can deliver on Saturday, but generally we deliver on Friday for the weekend.

How much notice do I need to give when ordering the bin?

Generally 24hrs, but we suggest you book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.
